What Youll Do in the Role:

• Design Tests: Analyze requirements, create test plans, and write test scripts.

• Focus on Key Areas: Prioritize testing critical app features and set up necessary test data.

• Automate Testing: Build and maintain automated UI and API tests for client-facing apps.

• Report Issues: Identify bugs, risks, and suggest improvements to the team.

• Follow Standards: Ensure tests align with best practices and company guidelines.

• Document Everything: Keep clear records of test cases, scripts, and releases.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Automation Testing Expertise:
• Proven experience in writing automation scripts for hybrid mobile applications using tools like Appium, WebdriverIO, or XCtest.
• Strong understanding of mobile and web application testing best practices.
• Programming Languages:
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and NodeJS.
• Experience with Shell/Bash scripting for MacOS environments.
• CI/CD and DevOps Experience:
• Familiarity with MacOS CI/CD tooling and associated DevOps processes.
• Hands-on experience in creating and managing pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Cloud Testing Tools:
• Experience or exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like Perfecto or Sauce Labs is a plus.
• Cross-Functional Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on debugging and system optimization.
