Description
PURPOSE
The Pricing Technical Support Specialist works effectively and efficiently to support the implementation and maintenance of cost contracts in both our CurrentGen and NextGen systems. This position utilizes technical and industry knowledge, problem solving skills, and communication to ensure that our rating engine is accurate and in alignment with carrier systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage carrier cost contracts including, but not limited to, contract document management and rate loading/maintenance, carrier onboarding, and implementation/testing of new fees and services.
• Review carrier’s published general rules tariffs for changes and coordinate across teams to ensure all rating programs are updated.
• Collaborate with carriers, support teams and development staff to resolve implementation and rating errors.
• Coordinate customer specific API rating access to support NextGen system testing.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Be a motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate eagerness to acquire knowledge and skills, expanding job capabilities
• Strong problem-solving, organization and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and processes

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• 1+ years of relevant work experience
