Your Challenge
Be part of one of our key growth areas, Mother & Child Care - Women's Health business (Philips Avent). You'll be working as Maternal and Infant Health Science Lead. In your role, you valorize our portfolio by structuring and enhancing how clinical and non-clinical claims are substantiated and brought to market to generate business impact, primarily focusing on the "Confident Feeding" need space and its Infant Feeding and Breastfeeding categories. To enable that, you drive the ownership and a dedicated focus on operationalizing the Claims roadmap end to end, ensuring that our claims are credible, bring the desired business value, are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and are effectively communicated. Additionally, you are the first point of contact with domain Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Institutes for clinical and Innovation partnerships.
You are part of the MCC-WH Research & Development Department, reporting to the R&D Leader and part of the R&D Leadership Team.
Your Role
- In line with the various Consumer Marketing Leaders' accountability for category competitive propositions, you are responsible for shaping and defining claim territories and aligning our ambitions with each consumer marketing team
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop compelling yet realistic strategies by strategy theme, ensuring measurable impact and business value
- Establish and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and academic institutions to enhance clinical/scientific thought leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive KOL advocacy approach to support scientific engagement and business objectives
- Actively engage and collaborate with Category and Regional Consumer Marketing teams, R&D Science and PRC, MarComm, CP&I, Clinical Affairs and Q&R, Legal, and all relevant stakeholders to develop a compelling yet realistic Claims roadmap and bring it to market with excellence
- Develop a detailed Program Plan of various projects: create a comprehensive plan for operationalizing the claim strategy, including identifying necessary studies, potential academic partners, and dissemination methods up to claims market introduction through various assets and channels
- Ensure Clear Timelines, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the progress and success of the claim substantiation efforts
- As a subject matter expert, you contribute to building capabilities on claim development across the business team through coaching, training and partnerships
You're the right fit if:
- You have an MS or PhD in a relevant field of Science
- You have acquired 5+ years of experience working on or leading and authoring clinical and/or scientific research in the consumer or medical device industry
- You have solid experience in Program Management to conceive, lead, and execute and launch new project initiatives
- You have solid business acumen, bias for action, and a collaborative attitude to orchestrate a wide range of professionals and partners by leading through influence
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Conceptual thinking in combination with a pragmatic attitude
