Clerk 7/8 with a salary range of $113,574 to $125,720plus super Ongoing full-time opportunity based in Parramatta or Sydney About us SafeWork NSW is the state's workplace health and safety regulator. Our mission is to reduce work-related fatalities, injuries and illnesses by ensuring workplaces comply with health and safety laws. We achieve this through a mix of responsive and proactive programs targeting high-risk areas across all industries, aligned with our strategic plan and regulatory priorities. About the role: As a Social Media Advisor, you will support the delivery of social media activities across SafeWork NSW's digital channels, helping to create compelling content and foster meaningful engagement with online audiences. You'll work closely with communications and creative teams to develop content, manage community engagement, monitor performance and contribute to campaigns that promote workplace health and safety across the state. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content publishing, moderation and audience engagement across official channels. Create engaging content including copy, graphics, photography and video that supports communication objectives and resonates with target audiences. Respond to and manage community enquiries, comments and conversations to foster positive engagement and a strong online community. Assist with planning and delivering social media campaigns and content calendars. Monitor social media performance and prepare reports and insights to help optimise content and engagement. Collaborate with communications, marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment. Build relationships with social media practitioners across government to share best practice and support coordinated communication efforts. About You: We're looking for someone who is creative, digitally savvy and passionate about delivering exceptional audience experiences. You will bring: Experience creating and managing content across social media platforms. Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels. Experience using social media management, analytics and content creation tools. A sound understanding of current social media trends, platform features and community management practices. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering quality outcomes.
