Description

Transducer Design Engineer. The design scope includes the transducer, required jigs and fixtures. The engineer will have to work closely with the electrical department to embed electronics in the transducer.

The position involves comprehensive Project management of new product design including direct communication with global customers, sales & marketing team, occasional travel for on-site visits, scheduling, costing, interface with Process Engineering, Planning, QA, and Operations.

  • Transducer design, jigs and fixtures design
  • Coordination of Transducer Design projects
  • Sales support
  • Production and Process Engineering support
  • Responsible for leading project from design to mass production start. (product spec, Gantt chart, configuration control thru PDM).
  • Transfer to process engineering (Documentation, training and ongoing support thru the launch)

Requirements

  • B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7-10 years in Mechanical Design of Metal systems/assemblies combining Electrical components, 3 years in Global Project Management
  • Hands on Experience in Mechanical Design and fabrication of Metal parts, stress analysis of parts and assemblies, metal processing and 3D printing technologies.
  • Proficient with CAD and FEA analysis
  • SolidWorks - advantage
  • Knowledge of PDM systems,
  • SolidWorks Enterprise PDM – advantage
  • Excellent communication skills; Verbal & Written in both English & Hebrew, add. language +
  • Willingness for occasional international travel
  • Proven Global Project Management experience - advantage
