Job Summary

The Programmer/Analyst – Oracle ERP Cloud Finance is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications across Finance, Revenue, and Order-to-Invoice functions. This role focuses on delivering scalable solutions using Oracle ERP Cloud, driving system integrations, reporting, and automation to enhance business processes. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant system delivery.

Job Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

  • 8–10 years of overall experience, with ~5+ years in Oracle ERP Cloud Finance development
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Integration: OIC
    • Extensions: VBCS
    • Reporting: BIP, OTBI, FRS, Smart View
    • Data tools: BICC Extracts, Conversions
    • Workflow & UI: BPM, Infolets
  • Experience in at least one end-to-end Oracle ERP Cloud implementation project
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Financial modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, SLA, Tax, Revenue
  • Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and relational databases
  • Exposure to Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, TCA, and Supply Chain processes

Functional & Business Skills

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Knowledge of Q2C, P2P, and financial process flows
  • Experience in integration testing, UAT, and system upgrades (quarterly releases)
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and internet technologies

Preferred

  • Oracle Cloud Financials certifications
  • Exposure to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives

Job Responsibilities

Development & Delivery

  • Design, develop, debug, and enhance Oracle ERP Cloud applications and integrations
  • Build and support reports, conversions, extensions, and workflows
  • Deliver end-to-end technical solutions aligned with business needs

Implementation & Support

  • Participate in full lifecycle implementations and system upgrades
  • Support testing activities (integration, UAT, end-to-end validation)
  • Ensure smooth ERP handoffs across finance and order processes

Business & Process Improvement

  • Identify process gaps and recommend system/process enhancements
  • Drive improvements in data lifecycle, reporting accuracy, and system performance
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Oracle ERP Financials

Collaboration & Governance

  • Work closely with functional teams, business users, and technical stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation and standards
  • Support compliance, system governance, and best practices

Operational Excellence

  • Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure high-quality delivery, timely execution, and system reliability
  • Contribute to team goals through effective communication and collaboration
