Your Role


As part of a highly motivated team of travel management consultants, your main role is to offer the full suite of travel services to Marine Tours customers, consistently exceed their expectations, and deliver exceptional results.


Your Responsibilities


  • You will attend to Meetings & Events customers’ needs and always offer the best possible options to match their requests.
  • You will communicate confidently with customers over the telephone and by email to discuss their needs in detail and guide them through the available options for domestic and international destinations, excursions, accommodation, transport, insurance, and tariffs.
  • You will efficiently prepare and provide air tickets, ferry tickets, vouchers, and other travel documents.
  • Support the development and delivery of Meetings & Events proposals for bids and RFPs.
  • Offer expert advice on routes, destinations, and venues, and demonstrate creativity and initiative in your proposals.
  • Be fully aware of and apply your customers’ corporate travel policies, contract details, special requirements, and arrangements.
  • Maintain and nurture excellent relationships with suppliers (airlines, hotels, car rental companies, etc.) to secure optimum terms and ensure the smooth resolution of any issues.
  • Foster excellent relationships with colleagues and other departments to ensure cross-departmental efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Account Management team to promote the Meetings & Events department to existing and new customers, contributing to revenue growth for the business.
  • Be available to travel and capable of coordinating Meetings & Events on site.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability that delivers value and drives results.

Your Profile


  • Degree-level studies in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of travel industry experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of GDS and other reservation systems will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Good knowledge of travel and medical guidelines, country entry procedures, safety requirements, local customs, and related matters.
  • Outstanding team spirit and a strong willingness to support your colleagues in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to analyse customer needs and gather valuable insights into personal preferences across all travel-related aspects.
  • Strong ability to engage with and build lasting relationships with high-profile customers.
  • A genuine interest in new trends and a comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer issues successfully.
  • A flexible and inquisitive personality.
