Data Scientist Sr Principal

HOW A DATA SCIENTIST SR PRINCIPAL WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Performs scientific work associated with the analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets; develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges
Investigates, analyzes, and formulates automated search and reporting from the customer environment or enclave.
Evaluates, tests, and recommends various AI/ML models and tools, including Cloud based module, third party module and open-source products.
Develop user interface and dashboard for search capability as well as reporting and monitoring capability within hybrid cloud environment or customer provided cloud environment.
Ensures that cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures are aligned with cybersecurity standards.
Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
Other duties as assigned related to developing data science and AI/ML initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelors of Science
● Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: Minimum Secret Clearance
● Travel: Occasional travel may be required
● Location: Hybrid
●US Citizenship Required
Required Technical Skills:
Advanced Python programming skills with strong familiarity with AI/ML modules
Proficiency in machine learning algorithms
Proficiency in data modeling and visualizations
Proven experience as a software developer, particularly with language models
Working experience with Windows and Linux development environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to conduct presentations to various audiences, including senior leadership
Must be able to document design, pseudo codes, and flow chart for review and approval
Familiarity with Data Science related Mathematics including statistics and probability, linear algebra and calculus
Key Responsibilities:
Develop AI/ML tool based on customer requirements
Communicate and work with team members to meet contractor obligations
Engage with customer stakeholders and PMO team on a regular basis
Lead and devise innovative methods and techniques to leverage AI/ML to improve risk assessments
Provide input to project planning and weekly reports
Document design, tool’s requirements and user guide
Setup and provide tool demos to stakeholders
