TERNA ENERGY, a member of the MASDAR Group, is seeking:
Project Manager (Renewable Energy Construction)
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the construction of Wind and Solar PV projects, ensuring timely and successful project delivery in accordance with approved budgets, schedules, and technical specifications.
- Develops and manages project budgets, ensuring cost control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepares and maintains project schedules, monitors progress, and implements corrective actions when necessary to achieve project milestones.
- Identifies, evaluates, and manages suppliers and contractors for the procurement of materials and execution of construction activities, while overseeing the implementation of related contracts.
- Reviews engineering studies and designs, proactively identifying potential issues, omissions, or inconsistencies and coordinating the required corrective actions.
- Coordinates site teams in collaboration with Site Managers, ensuring efficient execution of construction activities.
- Monitors construction progress and resolves technical issues that may arise during project implementation.
- Prepares material quantity take-offs and reviews or approves subcontractor certifications and payment applications.
- Produces daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and provides regular updates to the Construction Director regarding project status and key developments.
- Liaises with external stakeholders, including transmission and distribution operators, telecommunications providers, local authorities, municipalities, and local communities to facilitate project execution.
- Ensures compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, health and safety regulations, and company procedures throughout project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the construction and management of Renewable Energy projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects and coordinating contractors and subcontractors.
- Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Project is required.
