TERNA ENERGY, a member of the MASDAR Group, is seeking:

Project Manager (Renewable Energy Construction)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the construction of Wind and Solar PV projects, ensuring timely and successful project delivery in accordance with approved budgets, schedules, and technical specifications.
  • Develops and manages project budgets, ensuring cost control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepares and maintains project schedules, monitors progress, and implements corrective actions when necessary to achieve project milestones.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and manages suppliers and contractors for the procurement of materials and execution of construction activities, while overseeing the implementation of related contracts.
  • Reviews engineering studies and designs, proactively identifying potential issues, omissions, or inconsistencies and coordinating the required corrective actions.
  • Coordinates site teams in collaboration with Site Managers, ensuring efficient execution of construction activities.
  • Monitors construction progress and resolves technical issues that may arise during project implementation.
  • Prepares material quantity take-offs and reviews or approves subcontractor certifications and payment applications.
  • Produces daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and provides regular updates to the Construction Director regarding project status and key developments.
  • Liaises with external stakeholders, including transmission and distribution operators, telecommunications providers, local authorities, municipalities, and local communities to facilitate project execution.
  • Ensures compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, health and safety regulations, and company procedures throughout project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the construction and management of Renewable Energy projects.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects and coordinating contractors and subcontractors.
  • Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Project is required.
