Our client, a multinational corporation, is hiring a general commercial lawyer for their regional legal team based in Hong Kong. This key sole contributor role will:

• Advise business units in the regional team on a range of employment-related matters
• Review internal policies, processes and guidelines in employment-related matters such as compensation and benefits, retirement schemes and inclusion and diversity
• Handle labour disputes, employment-related claims or investigations
• Advise business units on e-commerce contracts and other technology related matters
• Work closely with the global legal team on technology agreements

To qualify:


• You will be an experienced employment lawyer with around 8+ PQE gained in law firms and in-house with multinational organisations
• Excellent contract drafting and communication skills is necessary
• Strong influencing/communication skills are required
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) languages are sought and Japanese language skills are advantageous
