Your Role

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, and commissioning of Motor Control Systems (MCS) at client facilities in Cúcuta.

  • Configure, tune, and troubleshoot low and medium-voltage Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), specifically from the Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley line (PowerFlex families).

  • Ensure proper communication and integration of field equipment using standard industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, or ControlNet.

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact on-site, ensuring the continuity of the client's operations, documenting Field Service Reports, and managing complex technical escalations.

  • Strictly comply with electrical safety standards (such as NFPA 70E) and internal occupational health policies for work in industrial environments.

Your Profile

  • Graduate Professional or Technologist in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related technical/university fields (Mandatory).

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in field technical support, industrial electronic maintenance, or commissioning of automation systems.

  • Strong command and practical experience with Rockwell Automation Variable Frequency Drives (PowerFlex). Proficiency in programming and diagnostic software (such as Studio 5000, Connected Components Workbench - CCW). Operational knowledge of control architectures and industrial networks (EtherNet/IP).

  • Technical English proficiency (Mandatory requirement to read manuals, electrical diagrams, and data sheets, as well as to write reports and attend global technical training).
