Description
Consolidation Accountant
We are currently seeking a Consolidation Accountant to be based in our Singapore finance team. The Consolidation Accountant reports to the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities:
Consolidation:
- Communication of closing processes, timelines and deliverables to the local Country finance teams
- Assist with the timely close and submission of local Country reporting packs
- Assist with the review of local Country reporting packs
- Work with local Country teams to finalise reconciliations and resolve any unusual / incorrectly reported items
- Work with local Country teams to resolve intercompany discrepancies
- Assist with the preparation of consolidation journals
- Preparation of group (excl. Indonesia) consolidation file
- Assist in the drafting of technical memos for Group accounting issues (i.e. business combinations)
Reporting:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management deck
- Preparation of Group financial analyses as required by Group / management
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure a timely audit process
Requirements:
- Degree / professional level qualification in Accounting & Finance
- At least 5 years’ experience, at least 2 years with hands-on consolidation experience
- Experience performing consolidation in SAP is a bonus
- Proficient in Excel
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority
- Able to work independently with high attention to detail
