As an Oracle Finance Tax & Localization - Senior Associate, you will specialize in using and managing Oracle Financials software to optimize operational efficiency for our clients. Within our Tax practice, you will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support to facilitate seamless integration and utilization of business applications. This role is pivotal in enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives through the effective management of financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, and cash management.

As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You are expected to navigate increasingly complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle Finance system, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

- Configuring and implementing Oracle Financials to optimize financial processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Analyzing client needs to develop tailored software solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Providing training and support to clients for seamless integration and utilization of Oracle Finance systems
- Managing financial system administration and confirming compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilizing analytical thinking to monitor and analyze financial trends, informing strategic recommendations
- Collaborating with clients to identify opportunities for finance process improvements and transformation
- Developing financial reports and presenting insights to support informed decision-making
- Maintaining professional and technical standards in alignment with PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Leveraging Oracle Hyperion Financial Management and Reporting tools to enhance financial analysis and reporting capabilities
- Engaging in business process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of overall Oracle Financials experience, with at least 1 year of dedicated hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Tax / Localization functionalities.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Finance, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or related Oracle ERP Finance Cloud modules
- Demonstrating proficiency in Oracle Financials and Oracle General Ledger
- Utilizing analytical thinking to enhance financial reporting processes
- Excelling in financial statement analysis and financial forecasting
- Developing innovative solutions for finance transformation projects
- Navigating complex financial regulations and compliance issues
