QA / QC Inspector

Location: Bahrain

Division & Department: Nass Contracting – Operations Department

Role Summary

The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved quality standards, specifications, and procedures. The role supports the Site QA/QC Manager in implementing and maintaining quality control systems, ensuring correct use of materials, accuracy of work, and proper documentation in line with the Company’s Quality Control Manual and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections of ongoing construction activities to ensure compliance with approved quality standards and specifications.
  • Verify test results and trial details, ensuring correct testing methods are followed.
  • Review technical data and discuss discrepancies with the QA/QC Engineer when results fall outside acceptable parameters.
  • Coordinate and discuss inspection results with QA/QC Engineer representatives for alignment and clarity.
  • Report any non-conforming results or adverse readings to the Site QA/QC Manager for corrective action.
  • Inform the Site QA/QC Manager of any client rejection or non-acceptance of quality results.
  • Ensure proper use, storage, maintenance, and calibration of all diagnostic and testing equipment.
  • Maintain an updated register of all testing and diagnostic equipment in compliance with quality procedures.
  • Support documentation and reporting of inspection and quality control activities.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Site QA/QC Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects including building, roads, bridges, or infrastructure works.
  • GCC experience in construction and temporary works is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and construction quality standards.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret statistical and quality data.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.
  • Good coordination and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with site teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Ability to work 80% on-site and 20% in office environments.
  • Familiarity with construction quality systems and inspection procedures.
