Partner Account Manager – Japan

We have an opportunity for a Partner Account Manager - Japan to join our sales team in Tokyo, reporting to the Senior Director of Partner Sales - APJ. In this pivotal role, you will build pipeline and drive channel revenue with a defined set of strategic Infoblox partners, acting as the subject matter expert to strengthen relationships and accelerate revenue growth. You will also align and standardize how geo sales teams engage these partners across their regions. This role supports the continued success of Infoblox’s network control, security, and cloud solutions. Be a Contributor - What You’ll do

  • Build and execute a channel development and revenue plan for a set of strategic partners to drive new Infoblox revenue and meet growth targets for each assigned partner
  • Spearhead the joint Infoblox and strategic partner value proposition by aligning on partner engagement, and coordinating resources across sales leadership, field sales, marketing and professional services as needed
  • Ensure the strategy is aligned with the sales teams, including their coverage models, focus areas, and priorities across target accounts, verticals, geographies, and market coverage
  • Ensure senior executive visibility and secure commitment across key Infoblox relationships
  • Assist in coordinating training on new products, solution sets, Infoblox’s direction, and business processes to improve self-sufficiency and increase share of mind and engagement with partners over competitors
  • Drive joint opportunity development with national channel partners through account mapping, marketing activities, coordination of marketing budgets, and use of Infoblox marketing programs
  • Manage deal registration, forecasts, and pipeline with assigned strategic partners, and coordinate partner engagement and sales activities with regional managers
  • Create strong engagement and alignment across executive, regional sales, and sales engineering teams
  • Stay up to date on the national channel partner’s strategy and position as a trusted and valued resource for them
  • Use A-enabled workflows for account research, meeting summarization, competitive analysis, proposal drafting, workshop preparation, and follow-up planning while validating outputs before use
  • Apply AI tools to strengthen opportunity strategy, accelerate response quality, and improve sales-cycle efficiency
  • Share AI and specialist best practices with sales, partners, and cross-functional teams to improve deal quality and execution at scale

Be Prepared - What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of technology vendor experience selling into channels with experience in business development or driving revenue and opportunity; networking and security highly preferred
  • SaaS and/or Managed Services (MSP/MSSP) sales experience is a plus
  • Experience engaging strategic partners with the company, brand, and technology through targeted programs, initiatives, and educational activities is a plus
  • Ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders, align teams, and bring stakeholders together to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Strong network of customers and strategic partners within the target region or vertical
  • Strong communication and interpersonal relationship development skills
  • Self-starter with solid expertise, high energy and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to use AI to improve productivity in research, drafting, synthesis, and decision support while applying sound judgment and validating outputs before use
  • Experience in applying AI to accelerate account preparation, competitive positioning, proposal development, and opportunity follow-through
  • Strong discipline in using AI alongside Salesforce and established sales processes to support better execution, higher quality output, and improve productivity

Be Successful - Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in Infoblox culture, products, and partner ecosystem. Establish trust with priority partners and internal sales stakeholders, and gain a clear view of pipeline, coverage models, and active opportunities. Build a focused channel plan for your assigned partners, align joint priorities and revenue targets, and stand up a clear operating rhythm for pipeline reviews, deal registration, and joint account planning.

Six Months: Build a strong understanding of each partner’s go-to-market strategy and clearly position how Infoblox support their objectives. Strengthen executive relationships, scale joint account plans, drive new business and grow channel revenue in line with overall targets.

One Year: Be recognized as a trusted advisor to top partners and internal stakeholders, with sustained revenue impact through partnerled motions. Drive consistent yearoveryear growth by expanding partner mindshare, increasing deal velocity and quality, and shaping joint investment priorities that align with Infoblox’s longterm growth strategy.
