Description

Join our team as a Senior Data Owner in Cash Management area!

Yes, you can! That's our attitude towards our work, ambitions, ideas, and relationships. We at Luminor believe that anyone has the potential to achieve big things and encourage everyone to achieve them, professionally and personally.

Whoever you are and whatever your role is, with Luminor, you will get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a local banking champion.

We are looking for a Data Product Owner to join Luminor and take business-side ownership of Transaction History.

This role is for someone who can work at the intersection of business product ownership, data, and system reality. You will help define what the product must do, what data it must contain, how it should be understood by consumers, and how we keep it usable across channels and reporting.

This is not a pure analyst role and not a pure engineering role. We need someone who can own the outcome, go deep into the data, and work closely with business, architecture, engineering, and reporting stakeholders.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Own the business-side vision, scope, and priorities for Transaction History and related statement/reporting capabilities

  • Define and manage the backlog together with engineering and technical counterparts

  • Gather, structure, and prioritize business and consumer requirements across channels, reporting, operations, and downstream users

  • Drive definition of the canonical transaction view and expected outputs for statements, ad hoc queries, and consumer-facing/reporting use cases

  • Work closely with business analysts, architects, engineers, and data stakeholders on mappings, semantics, and acceptance criteria

  • Ensure data requirements, quality expectations, ownership boundaries, and consumer impact are clearly documented

  • Help formalize decision records, ownership, assumptions, and open questions

  • Support alignment across source systems, data platform, and target consumer needs

  • Contribute to risk-aware delivery by ensuring data, security, compliance, and operational concerns are considered early

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Data Product Owner, Business Analyst with strong ownership, or similar role in a complex environment

  • Strong hands-on understanding of data structures, mappings, lineage, quality, and reporting requirements

  • Ability to work confidently with both business stakeholders and technical teams

  • Experience turning ambiguous needs into clear requirements, scope, priorities, and decisions

  • Good understanding of how enterprise systems, integrations, and downstream consumers depend on shared data

  • Strong communication skills and ability to challenge constructively

  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level

Additionally, it Would be a Strong Advantage if You Have:

  • Experience in banking, payments, cash management, transaction reporting, or statement generation.

  • Exposure to data governance, data contracts, BIAN, or data mesh ways of working.

  • Experience working with source systems, not only reporting layers.

  • Understanding of operational and regulatory expectations around financial data.

Why You Will Love Working Here:

  • Flexibility. Flexible working hours, Hybrid work, and the possibility to work from anywhere in the EU, Iceland, Switzerland, and the UK (in total 90 days per year)

  • International teams. Teams that go outside Pan-Baltic borders, where people value challenging work together with good humor and having fun

  • Culture. You’ll be joining a team where things move fast, ideas flow freely, and change is part of the everyday. It’s a dynamic environment that keeps you learning, growing, and never bored

  • More vacation. Additional weeks of vacation are available to all employees who have been in the company for 1 year or more

  • Volunteer time off. We care about giving back to society, therefore, you will get additional days off for volunteering purposes

  • Paid leave. We are proud of our employees who are participating in military training. Therefore, Luminor offers 30 fully paid calendar days for military training every year

  • Health benefits. A competitive benefits package in addition to your salary that includes health insurance after the first 3 months pass in all three Baltic states, as well as Health days in case of your absence due to sickness without a doctor's note needed

  • Wellbeing. Access to tools and resources that help you feel good and be productive at work and in life

  • Professional growth. Internal and external training programs, LinkedIn learning, workshops, conferences, online training, etc

  • Special Offer for Luminor products & services. Enjoy special offers & pricing for products and services provided by Luminor

  • Gross salary. 4010-6010 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies

The application deadline is the 11th of July. We are looking for a candidate primarily already located within the Baltics. Please apply with your CV in English and PDF format!
