Description
As an HR Analyst, you will support the HR Shared Services team in delivering consistent and efficient HR operations, with a strong focus on benefits administration, payroll support, and HR data entry. This role also maintains a dotted-line relationship to the HR Director, offering onsite HR presence at our two Ohio facilities three days per week to support employee engagement and site-level HR needs. You’ll act as a key point of contact for HR-related questions while ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee data and transactions.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, invoicing, changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment coordination.
- Provide support for payroll-related processes such as timesheet review, employee data changes, and coordination with site managers to ensure accurate pay.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including orientation sessions, system setup, and exit processing.
- Serve as an onsite HR representative three days per week to assist employees, answer HR-related questions, and support plant leadership.
- Partner with the HR Shared Services team to execute centralized HR processes consistently across the organization.
- Collaborate with the HR Director on facility-specific HR matters and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and internal policies through accurate record-keeping and process support.
What You'll Need:
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or shared services environment.
- Hands-on experience with benefits administration and exposure to payroll processes strongly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills and a commitment to accuracy.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid work structure.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
