- Create and maintain employee personnel files (digital and hard copy)
Payroll Administration
- Process payroll across multiple payroll groups
- Address employee payroll questions
- Maintain PTO balances and payroll records
- Coordinate wage changes, promotions, and deductions/garnishments
- Process additional/correction payrolls as needed
- Benefits Administration
- Enroll employees in benefit plans and process qualifying life event changes
- Answer day-to-day employee benefit questions
- Support annual open enrollment
- Track benefit eligibility and process benefit terminations
- Maintain 401(k) spreadsheets and process related payments
- Request pension funds prior to each payroll cycle

- Maintain personnel files and HRIS/payroll system data
- Prepare routine HR reports and track headcount/turnover/staffing metrics
- Respond to internal and external record requests
- Support audits and compliance reviews
- Track completion of safety, compliance, and job-related training
- Track attendance and assist with attendance-related documentation
Culture & Engagement
- Help coordinate employee recognition efforts
- Support retention and engagement initiatives
What You'll Bring
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfort working with HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems (training provided)
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn across multiple HR functions
- Prior internship, co-op, or entry-level HR/administrative experience is a plus, but not required
