Your area of work:
We are looking for junior testers to join our IT development centre in Prague and support testing activities with a primary focus on graphical user interface (GUI) testing.
In this role, you will focus on validating the behaviour and reliability of user interfaces across different scenarios. You will contribute to both manual and automated testing and help ensure the overall quality and consistency of our systems.
The position is part of a team working in the collateral management domain.
Your responsibilities:
- Test and validate graphical user interfaces (GUIs) to ensure correct system behaviour
- Design and execute GUI test scenarios
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated GUI tests
- Monitor existing test suites and analyze issues in new software deliveries
- Work closely with developers and testers to investigate application behaviour
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, and unexpected behaviour
- Participate in team collaboration within an international environment
Your profile:
- Currently enrolled in university (at least one semester completed)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and communicative
- Interest in software testing and quality assurance
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Basic knowledge of Linux and any programming or scripting language
- Experience or interest in GUI testing or test automation is an advantage
- Knowledge of Python and/or Java is an advantage
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
