Job Description:
Senior Associates in the Engagement Finance Support team will assist in daily billing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare customer invoices independently in S/4 HANA and work with managers to solve transactional issues.
- Collaborate with the Engagement Team’s to clarify billing inquiries to ensure smooth billing process
- Assist in tracking overdue invoices and following up appropriately with Engagement teams on finalizing and posting the draft invoices.
- Research and investigate discrepancies in billing requests and resolve issues by navigating through various reports in S/4 HANA and workflow tool.
- Support the generation of weekly reports and other financial analyses.
- Assist the junior team members in helping to clarify the process related issues.
- Assist the junior team members in managing the volumes and keeping things on track
- Provide administrative support as needed to managers and Senior Manager as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4-9 years of experience in finance operations or a related area.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency with MS office Suites (e.g., Microsoft Excel, advanced knowledge on Power BI will be an added advantage).
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Familiarity with billing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and being able to articulate the problem statement, offer solutions to the engagement teams.
