Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our Investment Banking client to help design, develop, and maintain front office trading system. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust and scalable Java-based applications that power the trading workflows and user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy efficient Java-based components for front-end trading interfaces, middle-office systems, and back-end services

- Collaborate closely with business analysts, quants, traders, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into high-quality software solutions

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable Java code adhering to best practices and company standards

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the production environment, providing timely resolutions

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a Java developer, preferably in a front office or capital markets context

- Strong proficiency in Java SE and Java EE technologies (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, JMS)

- Familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
