JOB SUMMARY:

The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the Bank's Compliance Management Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Supervise Compliance Department staff.
  2. Serve as CRA Officer, and HMDA Officer for all banks, and direct staff accordingly to ensure compliance with these regulations.
  3. Maintain compliance policy library.
  4. Review operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Provide compliance training to associates as needed.
  6. Answer associate inquiries related to compliance, including review of all bank advertising materials.
  7. Perform compliance monitoring for various regulations; preparing reports of results; and performing follow-up on violations and exceptions.
  8. Perform an annual risk assessment of regulatory requirements.
  9. Chair monthly Compliance Committee meetings.
  10. Prepare reports for the board of directors and senior management as requested.
  11. Report, as necessary, to the board of directors and senior management regarding significant activities and developments in the area of regulatory compliance.
  12. Complete special projects as assigned.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Three to five years’ experience in banking with a working knowledge of compliance.
  2. Undergraduate degree in finance, business, or related field. Additional professional education at a compliance school preferred.
  3. Ability to travel to Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado locations.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Demonstrated strength in decision making, dependability, independence, organization, problem solving, and time management.
  6. Professional appearance.
  7. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook.
  8. Able to work with and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Physical Requirements:

Light Work - exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Reaching, fingering, grasping, repetitive motions, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, talking, hearing, pulling, pushing, thinking, concentrating and interacting with others.
