As a Cloud Software Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative Containers as a Service (CaaS) solutions that enhance computing experiences. You will work across the full software stack, spanning multiple operating systems and platforms, to design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain cutting-edge cloud technologies. The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:

• Design, develop, and implement robust software solutions across various operating systems and platforms.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for efficient deployment, operation, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into larger systems.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• Contribute to all stages of product delivery, including testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software and/or systems engineering.
• 3+ years of experience:
  • Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters, including deployment and maintenance.
  • With containerization technologies beyond Kubernetes (i.e. Docker, Docker registry)
  • With Linux operating systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Go
• Experience developing AI MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools and integrations
• Knowledge of AI Agent development, deployment, and orchestration
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Experience with configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Salt.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud
• Understanding of virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
