What is the role about? 

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive market penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with manufacturing representatives, strategic account managers, and regional product business managers, this individual will analyze market trends, optimize pricing strategies, and implement best practices in sales execution. By fostering a high-performance team culture, embracing accountability, and encouraging entrepreneurial thinking, this role will play a pivotal part in achieving business success and strengthening cross-functional collaboration. 

Which tasks will you perform? 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with manufacturing representatives, strategic account managers, and regional product business managers to achieve sales targets. 
  • Review market analyses with stakeholders to determine customer needs, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning. 
  • Develop best practices in sales execution and innovative market penetration strategies in partnership with key stakeholders to drive regional success. 
  • Lead key functional initiatives that exceed customer expectations while also developing talent to support the organization’s growth. 
  • Build and promote an effective team by managing performance, setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and conducting thorough performance reviews. 
  • Foster a growth mindset based on high levels of accountability, sales data analysis, and collaboration between internal and representative resources. 
  • Demonstrate cross-functional leadership, influencing and developing others—even without direct authority—while fostering collaboration across teams. 
  • Apply strong Profit & Loss business acumen to drive strategic decision-making and overall business success. 
  • Embrace accountability and bold decision-making, setting aggressive goals and pushing beyond comfort zones to achieve extraordinary results. 
  • Encourage entrepreneurial thinking, challenging both self and others to stretch beyond perceived limits and drive innovation.

What do we expect from you? 

You will have (required): 

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of related sales experience OR 10+ years of related sales experience 
  • Travel required: up to 50%, infrequent international travel 

You may have (preferred):  

  • MBA 
  • Management experience in the process automation industry  
  • Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative. 
  • Demonstrates moral courage by standing up for their beliefs, taking justifiable risks, addressing contradictions, and knowing when to say no 
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, develop and execute strategic plans and solutions, and drive business results 
  • Exhibits a proactive and positive approach to embracing and promoting change, with an open and curious mindset towards new ideas and opportunities 
  • Prioritizes the customer perspective in business decisions by actively seeking to understand customer needs and problems, initiating solutions based on this understanding, and implementing feedback to enhance the overall experience and prevent future issues
