The Opportunity
Joining as an Associate or Senior Associate in the Tax Reporting and Strategy department, within the Accounting or Tax Compliance teams offers a unique platform to enhance your expertise, work with a diverse clientele, and be part of a forward-thinking team. Your Responsibilities
Prepare and review the clients’ financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Support audits by providing documentation and explanations for accounting practices.
Engage in a diverse spectrum of tax compliance and financial reporting projects
Provide ongoing support to clients as they implement changes, addressing any questions or challenges they may face.
Assist in the onboarding process for new junior team members by familiarizing them with PwC's processes, tools, and culture.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Partly or fully qualified in ACCA or ACA qualification.
For the Senior Associate roles, a minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment with exposure to various client industries.
Very good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with any accounting software will be an advantage.
