Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines to streamline software releases. The engineer actively works on integrating cloud technologies and container orchestration platforms to enhance system scalability and reliability. Ensuring the security of these systems is a key focus, involving regular testing and monitoring to protect against potential threats. Collaboration with various teams to align infrastructure with project goals is an essential part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and assistance in technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of scripting languages to automate workflows and processes.
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
