Senior Social Media Advisor Join SafeWork NSW and lead innovative social media and digital communication strategies that engage audiences and strengthen our digital presence across NSW Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of 129,464 to $142,665 plus super Ongoing full-time opportunity based in Parramatta or Sydney About us SafeWork NSW is the state's workplace health and safety regulator. About the role: As a Senior Social Media Advisor, you will play a key role in developing and delivering strategic social media initiatives that support SafeWork NSW's priorities, campaigns and reputation. You'll create compelling, audience-focused content, manage and optimise social media channels, provide expert advice to stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to continually improve engagement and performance across digital platforms. Working collaboratively with internal teams, external partners and senior stakeholders, you'll help shape how SafeWork NSW communicates with workers, businesses and the broader community. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging social media content that places audience needs at the centre of storytelling and drives meaningful engagement. Manage and optimise social media channels using contemporary best practice across social media, marketing and digital communications. Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of social and digital campaigns that support organisational priorities and communication objectives. Monitor social media activity, emerging issues and community sentiment, providing timely advice and recommendations to stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of digital communications. Provide expert advice on social media opportunities, risks and emerging trends. Analyse performance data and audience insights to inform content strategies and continuous improvement. About You: We're looking for someone who can combine creativity with strategic thinking and has a strong understanding of the evolving digital landscape. You will bring: Demonstrated experience managing social media and digital communication strategies in a complex organisation. Exceptional content creation and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and platforms. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, analytics and emerging digital communication practices. Experience delivering successful social media campaigns from planning through to evaluation. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes. Essential requirements Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in marketing and communications, ideally with a focus on social media. Travel to regional business locations is required.
