Position Title:

Data Analyst

Position Overview:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and visualization tools, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights and reports that drive strategic and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Insights

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.

• Conduct in-depth analyses using advanced statistical methods to identify patterns and correlations.

• Build dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and business performance.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend data-driven solutions.

• Translate complex data findings into business-friendly recommendations.

2. Data Design & Automation

• Design databases and systems to organize, store, and access data efficiently.

• Streamline data collection methods with automated routines.

• Develop scripts and tools to extract large volumes of data automatically.

• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable infrastructure.

3. Collaboration & Business Engagement

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Present results and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

4. Data Quality & Governance

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all reports.

• Maintain documentation of data sources, metrics, and processes.

• Support data governance and compliance with security policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.

• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).

• Advanced skills in Excel for analysis and reporting.

• Understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL/ELT processes.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Databricks (SQL Analytics, Delta Lake, Spark, Notebooks).

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Knowledge of cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

• Programming skills in Python or R for advanced analytics.

• Experience with statistical analysis, predictive analytics, or machine learning.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and cross-functional teamwork.
