Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planner & Scheduler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules, coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery of project milestones, and optimizing resource allocation. This role requires excellent analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project tasks, durations, and dependencies.

  • Identify critical path activities and ensure timely completion of key milestones.

Resource Allocation:

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives and deadlines.

  • Track resource availability and optimize resource utilization across multiple projects.

Progress Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor project progress and performance against established schedules.

  • Prepare and present regular status reports to management and stakeholders.

  • Identify potential schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Coordination and Communication:

  • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/science/commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Planner & Scheduler or similar role in [relevant industry].

  • Proficiency in project scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
