OVERVIEW

As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2026 Intern to join our Finance & Accounting Team in Rockleigh, NJ.
This role has been designated for a hybrid work arrangement (in office days: TUE/WED/THU – remote days: MON/FRI). Candidates must be commutable to Rockleigh, NJ.
Crestron Interns and Co Ops can expect to be challenged with meaningful projects and tasks alongside professionals and subject matter experts in the field. Each participant is assigned a dedicated mentor who will support their development and acclimation to the company. Crestron also provides training and networking opportunities to ensure a comprehensive experience that builds both technical and non technical skills and prepares students for future careers.

Our formal Summer Internship program begins in late May/early June and continues through mid August. Over the past several years, our internship program has resulted in numerous full time hires, and we remain committed to providing students with opportunities for growth and advancement.
FINANCE & ACCOUNTING ROTATION PROGRAM
As part of this internship, the selected candidate will participate in a structured rotation across several key Finance and Accounting departments. This rotation is designed to expose interns to the full life cycle of financial operations at Crestron and provide a deeper understanding of how each function supports the business.
Interns may rotate through the following groups:
Corporate Accounting
- Exposure to month end close activities, general ledger processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Hands on experience with invoice processing, payment cycles, vendor management, and expense compliance.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Support customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and credit analyses.
International Audit
- Support audit testing, internal controls reviews, and compliance initiatives.
Rotations are designed in partnership with managers to ensure the intern experiences a balanced blend of hands-on work, observation, and guided learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key responsibilities may include the following:
- Data entry and account reconciliation
- Financial statement preparation
- General ledger maintenance, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in international audits
- Research and analysis
- Filing and document management
- Verify completion of all functionalities
- Expense report review and policy adherence
QUALIFICATIONS
General Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a college or university working toward a bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a closely related field
- Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during the entire internship period
- Must be commutable to and from the Rockleigh, NJ area for the duration of the internship
- Must have permanent, unrestricted work authorization in the United States now and in the future
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
