Description
Provides clinical information management, data collection, analysis and reporting of metrics related to the care of the trauma patient, including financial, clinical and outcome data working closely with the Trauma Program Manager.

Preferred qualifications:
- RHIT, certified coding specialist, (CCS), A.D. with emphasis on anatomy & physiology
- Current ICD 10 coding experience, PC & Excel & Word experience
- Previous trauma registry experience
- AIS coding preferred
- Cooperative with others, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
This position abstracts patient information mostly from EPIC, Medical Examiner Reports, etc., and enters all patient information required into the trauma registry. Maintains daily lists, reports, participates in TEAM mtgs, Interrator Reliability work and continuing education requirements.
