Senior Data Architect (2 months project)

For a project in the car rental industry, we are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect for a short-term engagement (1–2 months) focused on building a GCP-based data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Architecting a scalable and reliable data warehouse solution
• Designing data models that drive analytics and reporting
• Selecting and recommending the right tools and technologies
• Building and deploying initial data pipelines
• Documenting systems and enabling smooth knowledge transfer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering/data architecture roles
• Strong background in dimensional modeling
• Experience designing warehouse architectures
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable data models
• Hands-on production experience with BigQuery
• Experience with an orchestration tool
• Experience implementing data quality checks
• Understanding of PII handling, data masking, and compliance considerations (GDPR)
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in Python for data engineering tasks
• Fluent in Polish and English

Nice to have:

• Experience in the mobility, automotive, or car rental industry
• Experience with Looker / Looker Studio or other BI tools on the GCP stack
• Arabic or Polish language skills (a plus, not required)
