Structure meets scale. Join the quantum journey

At Diraq, we’re building the future of quantum computing - enabling millions of qubits on a single chip. As we scale, corporate development is central to how we grow capital, partnerships, and long-term enterprise value.

We’re looking for a high‑calibre Corporate Development Associate / Manager to work closely with the Chief of Staff and Senior Leadership Team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of fundraising, financial analysis, and strategic execution - bringing rigour, momentum, and clarity as the company scales globally.

You’ll play a key role in executing capital raises, driving corporate and strategic initiatives, and building best‑in‑class processes across investors, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Fundraising execution (endtoend): Play a central role in capital raises - owning and maintaining the cap table, preparing investor materials and valuations, managing the data room, coordinating diligence, and executing share issues and closes.
  • Drive corporate and strategic initiatives: Help shape and execute priority initiatives across fundraising, corporate development, and strategy - working crossfunctionally to bring structure, discipline, and momentum to complex initiatives.
  • Investor and stakeholder management: Prepare highquality briefings and materials, track interactions, and maintain strong context across investors, advisors, and key external stakeholders.
  • Financial and commercial analysis: Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and scenarios to support fundraising, strategic decisions, and longterm planning.
  • Project management and execution: Own workplans, timelines, interdependencies, and deliverables across fundraising and corporate or strategic initiatives to ensure timely, highquality outcomes.
  • Own the “single source of truth”: Maintain an accurate cap table, CRM, and investor records - ensuring disciplined, professional engagement at all times.
  • Champion AIenabled ways of working: Actively drive the adoption of AI tools (e.g. Copilot and other productivity platforms) to improve efficiency, insights, and decisionmaking across corporate development workflows.

Requirements

  • You have 4–6 years’ experience in corporate development, M&A, transaction services, strategic finance, or a closely related role in a highperformance environment.
  • You have strong financial analysis, valuation, and project management skills, and are comfortable owning complex, multiparty processes endtoend.
  • Handson experience with fundraising execution, cap tables, data rooms, and share issuances is highly valued.
  • CFA or CA is a strong plus.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, take initiative and enjoy building structure, rigour, and repeatable processes.
  • You are highly detailoriented and trusted with sensitive and confidential information.
  • You’re confident engaging with senior leaders, investors, and external advisors.
  • You’re AInative and toolsdriven, comfortable leveraging modern platforms across modelling, analysis, document preparation, and workflow management to work smarter and faster.
  • You’re motivated by frontier technology and excited to help shape how it reaches the world.

Benefits

  • Stunning central Sydney CBD office with great amenities.
  • Paid time off to volunteer for causes you care about.
  • Eligibility to participate in our employee equity program.
  • Work alongside worldleading quantum scientists and a highly engaged SLT.
  • A fastpaced, highimpact environment with scope to grow from Associate to Manager as the company scales.
  • Frontrow exposure to how breakthrough technology becomes a global platform.
