Our Team, Your Impact
The Data Author plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Supply Chain master data by entering, updating, and maintaining data records in alignment with defined standards and business rules. Embedded within functional teams, the Data Author collaborates closely with stakeholders to gather data inputs, support operational processes, and enable reliable reporting and analytics. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a structured approach to data handling, and a foundational understanding of enterprise data systems.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Create, update, and maintain master data records in compliance with defined data standards and governance policies
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of data entries across relevant systems
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and validate data inputs for operational and reporting needs
- Support data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and participating in cleansing activities
- Assist in the preparation of reports and dashboards by providing reliable and structured data
- Escalate data issues or anomalies to data stewards or relevant stakeholders for resolution
Your Skills and Experience
- University degree or equivalent education—preferably in a scientific or business management discipline
- Understanding of master data standards, business rules, and governance principles
- Basic understanding of business stream processes, ideally within a supply chain context
- Proficiency in enterprise data entry systems and tools (e.g., ERP, MDM platforms)
- Very good oral and written English communication skills
- Excellent analytical capabilities to support mass changes, reporting, and data validation
- Time management and self-organization skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team
