We're looking for one (1) Full-Time Program Supervisor to join our team!
Job Summary:
The Program Supervisor provides frontline operational and people leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed services within their assigned program. This role supports strong communication, operational consistency, documentation accuracy, and staff readiness while maintaining focus on client safety and service effectiveness in alignment with Wood’s Homes policies, standards, and care models.
Scope:
Responsible for supporting day-to-day service delivery, risk response, and staff supervision within a designated program environment serving children, youth, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management
- Provides regular supervision, coaching, and performance support to frontline employees
- Assists with scheduling, coverage coordination, and workforce adjustments as needed
- Supports recruitment, onboarding, and training activities for new staff
- Promotes professionalism, accountability, and team communication aligned with program expectations
Clinical Quality & Service Outcomes
- Ensures adherence to trauma-informed care principles, case management procedures, and therapeutic interventions within scope of role
- Monitors documentation quality and ensures completion of required client records
- Collaborates with clinical leads and Program Manager to address complex case situations
- Contributes to quality improvement initiatives within the program
Operational Excellence
- Provides leadership on shift to maintain service continuity, operational readiness, and adherence to procedures
- Supports implementation of new practices and service model expectations under direction of leadership
- Oversees completion of required administrative tasks and operational reporting
- Escalates operational concerns, staffing issues, or emerging needs to Program Manager or Associate Director
Funder & Stakeholder Relations
- Maintains professional communication with referral sources, school personnel, and community partners involved in service delivery
- Participates in case conferences, interagency meetings, and client transition planning as assigned
Financial & Resource Stewardship
- Supports efficient use of program resources and adheres to program budget
- Monitors resource needs and identifies issues for review by leadership
- Follows established purchasing and cost control procedures
Risk, Safety & Compliance
- Provides strong leadership in implementing activities that support high-quality services and demonstrate commitment to the Health and Safety Management System across the organization and within their respective area.
- Ensures staff comply with all secure care, licensing, occupational health and safety, and regulatory obligations applicable to the program
- Responds to escalating risk concerns and communicates incidents to leadership in alignment with incident response protocols
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Experience supporting youth affected by complex trauma through an informed and high-level. understanding of family-based models.
- Experience in youth care and/or clinical work.
