What’s the role?

As a Quality Engineering Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring high-quality outcomes across the technology portfolio, leading the design, development and delivery of testing services across the Line of Business while driving strong quality practices, innovation and continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities would be leading end-to-end testing delivery to ensure stability and timely outcomes, driving testing practices and governance aligned to TDS, embedding a quality engineering approach, and owning reporting and metrics to improve delivery performance, along with leading test automation, driving improvements across processes and tools, managing stakeholders and vendors against KPIs and SLAs, overseeing test environments and data, and supporting financial and workforce planning.


Please note, this is a 2-year fixed-term contract position.

What do I need?

  • Over 7 years experience in a Testing environment.
  • Over 5 years experience in Test Management.
  • Over 3 years experience as a Senior Test Manager/Programme Manager.
  • At least two years managing a large portfolio of projects and working with Senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Banking or Financial Services environments is required.
  • Experience with data platforms, big data technologies or Snowflake would be an added advantage, with the ability to apply quality engineering practices across data-intensive and large-scale data environments.
  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Information Systems or a related discipline, along with ISTQB or ISEB certification.
  • Formal Project management qualifications or ITIL V3 would be desirable.
