Job Description – Direct Sales Representative 
A Direct Sales Agent  at PalmPay Tanzania is responsible for driving customer acquisition, promoting Palm Pay’s payment services, and meeting sales targets by engaging merchants and individual clients. The role combines field sales, customer relationship management, and product promotion to expand PalmPay’s footprint in Tanzania’s fintech market.
Duties
  • Promote and sell smartphones and other mobile devices with financing plans.
  • Approach and engage potential customers in retail outlets, events, and field sales.
  • Explain financing options, eligibility criteria and assist with applications.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and answer customer queries.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Provide after sales support and encourage repeat business.
Payment Method: 
Commission-based (earnings depend on sales performance).
Required Skills
  • Strong communication and persuasive selling skills.
  • Customer service orientation and relationship-building ability.
  • Basic understanding of consumer financing and credit processes.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Confidence in product demonstrations and handling objections.
