Position: Analyst (Emirati)
Location: Dubai
Client: Dubai Government
This role involves supporting the end-to-end execution of startup accelerator and investment programs. The candidate will be reporting to the Head of Program of the company.
Responsibilities
Program Operations
- Support end-to-end accelerator program execution (applications, onboarding, workshops, demo days).
- Maintain timelines, documentation, calendars, and communications.
- Coordinate logistics with startups, mentors, investors, and partners.
- Manage the application funnel, screening rounds, and shortlisting.
- Track startup engagement, milestones, and performance across cohorts.
- Optimize operations for startup satisfaction and program impact.
- Serve as a point of contact for program participants.
Startup Sourcing & Selection
- Research and identify promising early-stage startups aligned with the investment thesis.
- Analyze traction, market potential, and founder fit.
- Support due diligence and prepare internal investment summaries.
Portfolio & Performance Tracking
- Track growth metrics, fundraising progress, and milestone achievements.
- Prepare internal and LP reports.
- Maintain CRM systems (Airtable, Salesforce, Affinity, etc.).
Investment Review & Due Diligence
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling.
- Review business plans, financial statements, and legal documentation.
- Collaborate with the investment team on investment theses and recommendations.
- Maintain structured records of opportunities and decisions.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships within the startup ecosystem.
- Liaise between startups and investors when applicable.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications
Education:
- BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business development, project management, venture capital, or entrepreneurship
Experience & Skills:
- Strong interest in startups, technology, and venture capital
- Experience with incubators, accelerators, or innovation programs (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (Advanced English required)
- Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience working across diverse cultures
- Solid understanding of startup growth stages and challenges
