Description:
As a
successful candidate you will be a key member of our laser group and be
responsible for performing and managing reliability and qualification programs.
You will help to successfully introduce qualified products to (AI) Datacenters,
Telecommunications and other emerging optical markets. You will be challenged
by bringing in your knowledge in III-V semiconductor reliability to help
improve overall quality. We provide you with an agile environment where your
broad skill set will be utilized and further developed.
Responsibilities:
- Manage new product qualification programs as well as ongoing reliability test programs on released products.
- Perform DOEs to optimize BurnIn.
- Provide schedules and execute towards timely product qualifications.
- Hold a biweekly reliability meeting.
- Work closely aligned with the design and the product engineering team and alongside corporate quality and its FA team.
- Manage communications with packaging CMs for reliability builds.
- Improve and add to currently available FA analysis techniques.
Requirements:
- PhD or MS in Material Science, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in material science or reliability of III-V opto-electronic devices.
- Excellent familiarity with failure mode analysis techniques and the physics of failure modes in III-V materials.
- Excellent familiarity with GR468 and JEDEC standards for optical device qualification.
- Self-motivated, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Due to ITAR regulations, only
candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful

The Salary Range for this position is $98,000 – $166,000. Actual
salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not
limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and
specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
