Safety Administrator

Allen Industries has been operating for over 95 years and is one of the nation’s largest signs and architectural elements manufacturers, with the capacity, equipment and expertise to design, build and maintain every type of signage and re-imaging program.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Safety Administrator to support company‑wide safety, training, and regulatory compliance programs. This role focuses on tracking, coordinating, and documenting required safety and compliance training, ensuring all employees and locations remain audit‑ready and compliant.

What You’ll Do

  • Track and monitor required OSHA, EPA, DOT, UL, and internal safety training
  • Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate internal and external safety training resources
  • Support OSHA logs, audits, incident documentation, and workers’ compensation reporting
  • Assist with emergency preparedness, CPR/AED training, and equipment inspections
  • Support DOT documentation, hazardous waste records, and environmental reporting
  • Communicate training deadlines and follow up to ensure completion

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training or certification
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
  • ERP system experience
  • Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement exposure
  • CPR/AED certification (trainer-level a plus)

Work Environment

  • Office and manufacturing settings
  • Exposure to moving equipment, noise, fumes, and industrial conditions
  • PPE such as hearing protection and safety eyewear may be required

Schedule & Travel

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required
  • Travel approximately 20–30%, but varies
