Product Management at GO-JEK will bring you closer to our customers and businesses in Indonesia and beyond across transport, payments, logistics, food and the retail industry. You’ll become the voice of your customers and partners by focusing on strategy and analytics, and working closely with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define a product vision and a plan to achieve it.

About Go-Send and Go-Box

Go-Send and Go-Box form a part of the logistics suite of products and are the preferred providers of on-demand logistics in Indonesia delivering over 300,000 packages per day.

One of the focus areas for Logistics this year is to provide a delightful and seamless user experience for users of Go-Send and Go-Box by revamping the user booking experience. Another key area of focus is to provide first-mile and last-mile solutions as a third party logistics(3PL) provider for other businesses including SMEs.

About the role:

GO-JEK is looking for a quick-learning and motivated Product Manager to help build out our customer experience. As product manager, you will drive the conceptual and technical development of product ideas from end-to-end for GO-JEK and our customer base. You love working with passionate customers, talented designers and engineers to craft beautifully simple solutions for challenging user stories.

What you will do:

• As part of the product team, drive the product strategy and execute on the prioritized roadmap for your product area
• Lead a cross-functional team, partnering with engineering, design and other teams to ship major features and product improvements
• Define, track and report on key product, business and customer metrics
• You will gather, analyse and distribute intelligence on products, competitors and customer behaviour across different platforms to drive product and business decision-making
• Seek product ideas and feedback, gather requirements, write specs, create wireframes and workflows
• Define clear and well-scoped requirements documents that are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences
• Participate in user research initiatives with the design and user research teams to understand customer problems and identify and iterate on solutions
• Learn everything you can about our customers through data and use it to drive your product decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in support, marketing, sales and business to develop launch strategy, product messaging and training

What you bring to the role:

• 3-6 years of experience working as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale products.
• A fast learner, you’re comfortable teaching yourself new skills and can thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment.
• Analytical and data-driven, you love digging into the data to understand what’s happening and define & measure success on every project.
• You’re passionate about your customers and always bring questions back to what will serve them best.
• You know how to work with agile product development teams and are excited about identifying new ways to help your team be effective.
• You’re fluent in English and are a confident communicator
• Experience as a software engineer / developer and working with distributed teams are highly desired.
• Prior experience of working in Logistics or e-commerce marketplace domain is desirable
