NetDevOps Engineer (Networking Automation)

**Job Title: NetDevOps Engineer (Networking Automation)** **Location: Remote (Canada EST)** **Overview** We are seeking a highly skilled NetDevOps Engineer to join our Networking team. This role is focused on building and advancing network automation capabilities across a large-scale enterprise environment. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), to enable scalable, reliable, and secure network operations. This role plays a key part in modernizing networking practices through DevOps principles and automation-first delivery. **Key Responsibilities** - Deliver KTLO activities, incidents, service, and problem management using automation-first approaches. - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for network configuration and deployments. - Implement and enforce source control practices (Git) and versioning standards for network configurations. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Ansible, Bicep, ARM, or Terraform. - Lead and contribute to the adoption of DevOps practices within the Networking team. - Drive continuous improvement of network operations through automation and standardization. - Develop reusable automation frameworks and support tiered operational teams. - Evaluate and integrate new network automation and DevOps technologies. - Support enforcement of enterprise standards, frameworks, and policies related to networking and automation. **Skills & Qualifications** - University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience; CCNP or DevNet certification is an asset. - 8+ years of experience in networking and/or NetDevOps roles. - Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills. - Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. - Subject Matter Expert (SME) in network automation and DevOps practices. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to influence and build credibility across teams and stakeholders. **Preferred Technical Certifications** - Cisco CCNA / CCNP - Cisco DevNet (strongly preferred) - Microsoft AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer) - Microsoft AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer) Please submit profiles of qualified candidates who meet these along with availability.
