The Role
Halborn is looking for a Head of Strategic Partnerships to build and scale strategic ecosystem partnerships that generate qualified enterprise pipeline and expand Halborn’s presence across Web3, fintech, digital assets, and institutional security markets.
This role is focused on partnership-led growth, ecosystem development, referral channels, strategic accounts, and senior business development execution.
This is a senior commercial role for someone who can open doors, structure partner motions, build repeatable pipeline channels, and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery to convert market relationships into revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships Development
- Build and execute Halborn’s business development strategy across Web3, fintech, digital assets, cybersecurity, and institutional technology ecosystems.
- Identify and develop high-value commercial opportunities through ecosystem relationships, referrals, partner channels, industry networks, and strategic accounts.
- Own senior-level relationship development with founders, executives, investors, ecosystem leaders, security buyers, and institutional stakeholders.
- Support early-stage commercial conversations where strategic context, credibility, or partner alignment is required.
- Translate market signals into actionable pipeline opportunities for the sales organization.
Ecosystem Partnerships
- Build and scale partnerships with VC firms, accelerators, digital asset platforms, infrastructure providers, system integrators, dev shops, advisory firms, and relevant technology partners.
- Develop co-selling, referral, and joint GTM motions that create qualified opportunities for Halborn’s cybersecurity services.
- Position Halborn as a preferred security partner across key Web3, fintech, and institutional ecosystems.
- Maintain active relationships with strategic partners and ensure consistent follow-through on joint opportunities.
- Identify new partner categories that can expand Halborn’s reach into priority markets.
Pipeline & Revenue Execution
- Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to convert partner and ecosystem activity into qualified enterprise pipeline.
- Partner with Marketing on event-driven campaigns, ecosystem activations, market narratives, and vertical-specific initiatives.
- Contribute directly to strategic account pursuits where senior BD involvement can accelerate access or deal progression.
- Maintain accurate tracking of partner activity, opportunities, referrals, and commercial motions in HubSpot CRM.
- Build repeatable systems for measuring partner-sourced pipeline, conversion, deal influence, and revenue impact.
Market & Go To Market Intelligence
- Monitor Web3, fintech, digital asset, and cybersecurity market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
- Surface intelligence from partners, investors, founders, and enterprise buyers to inform Halborn’s GTM strategy.
- Help refine Halborn’s positioning across institutional security, blockchain infrastructure, DeFi, custody, protocol security, and emerging threat areas.
- Represent Halborn credibly at industry events, partner meetings, conferences, and executive-level conversations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, ecosystem growth, or strategic GTM roles.
- Strong background in Web3, digital assets, fintech, cybersecurity, blockchain infrastructure, or technology services.
- Proven track record building partnerships that generate qualified pipeline and revenue opportunities.
- Existing network across Web3, fintech, venture, institutional crypto, dev shops, infrastructure providers, or cybersecurity ecosystems.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to identify opportunities with real revenue potential.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, including founders, executives, investors, CISOs, CTOs, security leaders, and institutional buyers.
- Ability to operate independently in a remote, fast-moving, high-accountability environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with executive presence and clear commercial thinking.
- CRM discipline and ability to track partner activity, pipeline influence, and opportunity progression.
- Ability to travel for key events, partner meetings, or strategic engagements as needed.
Bonus Points
- Experience building VC, accelerator, or ecosystem-led GTM partnerships.
- Existing rolodex across Web3, fintech, digital assets, cybersecurity, or blockchain infrastructure.
- Prior experience selling or partnering around cybersecurity services, audits, penetration testing, protocol security, custody security, or technical advisory.
- Experience in a fast-scaling remote-first company.
- Multilingual.
- Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, DeFi, custody, digital asset infrastructure, and institutional crypto markets.
- Experience working with both Web3-native companies and regulated financial institutions.
