Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Server Administrator with strong expertise in Server Administration, Active Directory (AD), and on-premises Microsoft Exchange. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience managing enterprise server environments with a focus on stability, security, and performance. Experience with ADFS, PowerShell, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Must-Have Skills

Active Directory (Mid-Level)

  • Design, implement, and administer AD forests, domains, sites, and services.
  • Create and manage AD Sites and Services, including new site/subnet configurations.
  • Manage GPOs, OU structure, DNS/DHCP integration, replication, and AD health.
  • Configure DHCP failover and create DHCP scopes.
  • Configure and troubleshoot DFS and Start Menu redirection.

Server & Infrastructure Operations (Expert-Level)

  • Perform server administration, OS installations, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Troubleshoot OS and application issues.
  • Manage patching, performance monitoring, and server hardening.
  • Oversee backups, disaster recovery drills, and incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry standards.

Nice to Have

Exchange / M365 Administration

  • Manage, configure, and maintain Exchange / M365 Environment.
  • Handle mailbox provisioning, transport rules, mail flow and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure high availability, backup, DR, and migration readiness.

Additional Skills

  • Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure).
  • PowerShell scripting experience.
  • ADFS / Authentication
    • Configure and maintain ADFS and SSO solutions.
    • Troubleshoot identity federation and cloud integration scenarios.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in enterprise server administration.
  • Strong technical expertise in:
    • Active Directory (Sites & Services, FSMO roles, DNS, DHCP, GPOs)
    • Server & Infrastructure Operations (installation, troubleshooting, patching)
    • Exchange Server / M365 Administration.
  • Good understanding of authentication and federation (ADFS, SSO, PKI).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
