Role Overview:
We are seeking a mid- to senior-level DevOps Engineer. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, drive DevOps best practices, and ensure high availability through automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate closely with development teams to design, build, and deploy reliable and scalable systems while advocating for DevOps practices. 
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, automated testing, and continuous deployment of applications. 
• Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and implement optimizations to improve system reliability and performance. 
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and address potential issues, ensuring the high availability of applications. 
• Automate manual processes and tasks using scripting and automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce human error. 
• Implement infrastructure as code practices, leveraging tools like Docker, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies to manage and version infrastructure configurations. 
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents, identify remediation strategies, and implement measures to prevent future occurrences. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and QA, to drive the adoption of DevOps principles and ensure a smooth software delivery process. 
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to critical incidents and ensure system availability outside of regular business hours. 
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and practices to enhance the DevOps and SRE capabilities of the organization. 

Key Skills and Competencies 

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and similar roles
• Strong experience with Site24x7 Monitoring & Alerting
• Experience in configuring and maintaining Site24x7 monitoring for infrastructure and applications.
• Experience in creating and managing alerting policies, thresholds, and escalation workflows.
• Experience in monitoring system availability and performance, troubleshoot alerts, and optimize monitoring to reduce false positives.
