Overview
Sr. Business Systems Analyst (15-month contract)- Hybrid
As the Senior Business System Analyst, you will report to the Supervisor, IT Triage and will be responsible for addressing the day-to-day needs of various sales, operations and administrative teams, including work related to system enhancements, upgrades and integration, data preparation, reporting and analytics, and will work closely with stakeholders on IT/system projects at Canon Canada.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact to assigned business units
- Compiling, reviewing and analyzing IT requirements with the assigned Business Units
- Working closely with the development teams to finalize the design and deliverables
- Composing internal IT testing plans
- Building, reviewing, and finalizing the business unit testing plans
- Supporting and/or developing project plans and monitoring progress
- Assisting Business Units with post-implementation support
- Providing guidance to Junior Business Systems Analysts
Qualifications
To Succeed, You Will Have:
- Post Secondary Degree in IT or Business Analysis
- A minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- IIBA and PMP Certifications are asset
- Experience in working with/analyzing JAVA applications and Oracle database
- Experience with Sharepoint, Visio, SQL
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Project and Time Management Skills
