Seaman Corporation is seeking a Technical Services Trainee to join our Commercial team! This position will report to the Regional Field Tech Supervisor – Central Region.
POSITION SUMMARY
The FiberTite Technical Services Trainee will acquire specialized knowledge and skills through supervised training and classroom education, both on and offsite. The goal is to develop a basic understanding of commercial roofing and FiberTite products over an 18-month period, preparing the trainee for a role in the FiberTite Technical Department as a Field Technical Representative.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Complete On-the-Job Learning (OJL) tasks and Related Technical Instruction (RTI) courses assigned.
- Assist within the FiberTite Technical Department as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Work in the office and travel to other sites as required.
- Receive feedback positively and build professional relationships.
- Document lessons learned, developed skills and knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to relocate if assigned a field position
- Fluency in Spanish or another language is a plus but not required
