About you

• Bachelors degree from a competitive school

• Highly analytical: able to derive insights from massive data sets and synthesize them into structured action plan

• Organized: able to improve collection rates for an ever increasing volume of invoices and customers through implementation of new systems and processes

• Skilled: understand how to effectively target and collect on various types of accounts

• Proven: experienced in working with many different types of people collections, with a track record of hitting personal targets and contributing to the achievement of team goals

• Strong communicator: able to convey ideas clearly and concisely to a wide variety of audiences

• Technically savvy: expert in one or more collections systems, accounting software packages, and Google Apps (including Google Docs and Google Spreadsheets)

• Experience: 1-3 years of work experience post college

What you'll do

• Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and facilitate payment processing while exercising professional communication and negotiation skills

• Work x-functionally with the accounting team to understand and properly record the accounts receivable balance

• Analyze, recommend, and implement process changes to maximize collection efforts

• Achieve personal and team targets, quotas, and goals

• Keep up on current industry trends and compliance issues; adhere to appropriate policies, procedures, and laws as established by the department, the company, and local, state, and federal governments
