Open Position Summary – Product Delivery Manager
OMNIA Partners has become the largest and most experienced purchasing organization for public and private sector markets by delivering unparalleled scale and solutions. Through further organic growth and strategic acquisitions, OMNIA Partners will continue to drive economies of scale to execute more contracts, in more verticals, with transparent, value-driven pricing for our membership of companies. Our success and growth have been unparalleled in this space. At the core of our success is a high energy, talented staff with diverse skills and a unified focus on delivering value and an emphasis on creativity, strategic thinking, and execution.
The Product Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that initiatives across the portfolio move from strategy to delivery in a predictable, high-quality way. This role sits horizontally across designated product teams, orchestrating delivery, aligning roadmaps with business priorities, and ensuring successful execution. It also serves as the primary point of contact for project managers to communicate the status of technology delivery
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio-wide delivery orchestration
- Own visibility to delivery status across products, connecting product roadmaps to portfolio-level priorities and commitments.
- Maintain an integrated cross-product delivery view (roadmaps, key milestones, major releases) and proactively flag risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Facilitate cross-product alignment sessions to resolve conflicts, sequencing issues, and capacity constraints while keeping product strategy intact.
- Partner with portfolio leadership to translate strategic themes into realistic, sequenced delivery plans across products.
- Establish and continuously refine the portfolio-wide delivery operating rhythm (cross-product standups, release forums, quarterly planning reviews) to ensure consistent visibility and decision-making across products.
- Own the standards and tooling for portfolio delivery views (dashboards, status reporting, dependency maps) so leaders have a single source of truth for product delivery health.
Product execution and outcomes (non-project-manager)
- Ensure that each product has clear, outcome-oriented success metrics, and that delivery activities tie directly to those outcomes.
- Work with product owners, delivery leads, and engineering to confirm that backlogs, release plans, and discovery work are aligned to agreed business and portfolio priorities.
- Monitor in-flight work across products, escalating risks and blockers, and driving cross-team resolutions rather than managing day-to-day project tasks.
- Validate that readiness activities (training, enablement, GTM inputs from product teams) are in place ahead of major launches, without taking on campaign or comms ownership.
Cross-functional coordination
- Act as the primary delivery coordination point between product management, portfolio management, technology leaders, and business stakeholders across the product set.
- Align product delivery plans with capacity and constraints from technology, data, and operations teams, raising options and trade-offs for decision-making.
- Ensure dependencies between products, platforms, and shared services are visible, understood, and actively managed by the accountable owners.
- Support portfolio-level risk and impact assessments by providing an integrated view of delivery health and implications across products.
Discovery and continuous improvement
- Partner with product owners to ensure discovery, validation, and experimentation work is planned and sequenced realistically within delivery timelines.
- Support post-launch reviews across products, ensuring learnings feed back into portfolio priorities, roadmaps, and delivery practices.
- Identify recurring delivery bottlenecks (e.g., environments, approvals, integration points) and work with leaders to address systemic issues.
- Contribute to improving delivery practices, cadences, and governance for product teams without owning detailed project plans or sprint ceremonies.
Success in this role looks like
- Predictable, high-confidence delivery across products, with fewer surprise delays and clearer trade-off decisions at the portfolio level.
- Improved alignment between product roadmaps, capacity, and business priorities, evidenced by on-time delivery of critical initiatives and reduced thrash in plans.
- Clear, concise visibility for executives into product delivery health, risks, and value realization through standardized reporting and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Have 5+ years in Product Management, Delivery Management, or a similar strategic technology leadership role.
- Can manage multiple product and delivery workstreams simultaneously without losing sight of the big picture.
- Understand how software gets built. You’re comfortable discussing data pipelines, APIs, cloud architecture, and modern delivery practices with engineers.
- Know how to translate complex technical and delivery concepts for non-technical stakeholders (and vice versa).
- Have experience managing agile ceremonies, delivery cadences, and metrics in dynamic environments.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus but not required).
- Experience in B2B technology or platform-focused environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise data ecosystems, agile delivery frameworks, and cloud-based architectures.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with Product Owners, engineering leads, and delivery professionals on distributed teams.
