Position: Purchasing Manager
Location: Cheslyn Hay (onsite)
Salary: Up to £60k for the right person
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for leadership and a passion for supply chain processes? Were on the hunt for a Purchasing Manager to join our team and take charge of our procurement activities.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee and manage our purchasing strategy and operations.
- Work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments.
- Drive continuous improvements and foster a culture of excellence.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Your Mission:
- Reduce vendor-related issues and overall inventory within a year.
- Cut lead times through supplier and logistics optimization.
- Boost team efficiency and increase team engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily team meetings and maintain clear communication.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
- Develop a vendor qualification system and implement agile supply chain practices.
- Improve demand planning and contract review processes.
- Enhance team skills through training and coaching.
